I was hoping that with the help of people from all over the world we could get a Flashback list of a 1000 places to see before you die, so what places have you been to that you can recommend others is a must see. If enough people answer I'll compile a small list with the result.

My recommendations.
* Gulf of Samana - the largest bay on Dominican Republic, in march/april the whales swim in here to play, it's an amazing site, people are friendly and you can play shuffelboard at the hotel or sit in a wickerchair drinking Rum drinks in a white suit looking out over the ocean.

* Bratislava, Slovakia - Underestimated and Pragues little brother, Bratislava is a beautiful city and I can recommend staying at the Radisson right in the center of Bratislava. Restaurents are plentiful and there are tons of bars and discos all over, people are friendly and you can take a bike tour out in the countryside.
