ett tillägg till mitt föregående inlägg. (det skulle bli så katastrofalt långt om jag la ihop all text tillsammans, så jag lägger denna fråga enskilt istället)



för att få ett andra års visum i australien så skall man ju ha jobbat 3 månader med så kallat specified work. (mer känt som "fruktplockning" även om det innefattar bra mycket mer än bara fruktplockning)

jag vill åka och prova att jobba på en hästranch... tror ni att det går under specified work? känns lite halvt tveksamt va? eller? men om man ser till de punkterna jag har markerat i fettext så... jaa, hur ska man tolka dem? någon som vet?


här kommer definitionerna på så kallat specified work:





"Definition of specified work

Specified work is any type of work in the list below:

* plant and animal cultivation

o cultivating or propagating plants, fungi or their products or parts
o general maintenance crop work
o harvesting and/or packing fruit and vegetable crops
o immediate processing of animal products including shearing, butchery in an abattoir, packing and tanning
Note: Secondary processing of animal products, such as small goods processing and retail butchery is not eligible

o immediate processing of plant products
o maintaining animals for the purpose of selling them or their bodily produce, including natural increase
o manufacturing dairy produce from raw material
o pruning and trimming vines and trees.


* fishing and pearling
o conducting operations relating directly to taking or catching fish and other aquatic species
o conducting operations relating directly to taking or culturing pearls or pearl shell.
* tree farming and felling
o felling trees in a plantation or forest
o planting or tending trees in a plantation or forest that are intended to be felled
o transporting trees or parts of trees that were felled in a plantation or forest to the place where they are first to be milled or processed or from which they are to be transported to the place where they are to be milled or processed.


* mining
o coal mining
o construction material engineering
o exploration
o metal ore mining
o mining support services
o oil and gas extraction
o other non-metallic mineral mining and quarrying.


* construction
o building completion services
o building installation services
o building structure services
o heavy and civil engineering construction
o land development and site preparation services
o non-residential building construction
o residential building construction
o other construction services.

Specified work:

* does not need to be paid work.
Example: Work undertaken as a volunteer or through the Willing Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOF) scheme may also qualify if the work you undertook falls with the specified work definition above.
* does not need to be undertaken as a direct employee.
Example: Work in the list above as a contractor is eligible.
* must be listed above
Example: Working as a nanny for a farmer would not be eligible."
