Definitionerna på turbulens:
Light:
Aircraft reaction: Momentarily slight changes in attitude/altitude. IAS +-5-15kt <0.5G skillnad vid CG
Inside reaction: Slight strain against seatbelt/shoulderstap. Unsecured objects may displace slightly. No difficulty in walking.
Moderate:
Aircraft reaction: Changes in attitude/altitude, but always controllable. IAS +-5-15kt 0.5-1.0G skillnad.
Inside reaction: Definate strains against seatbelts. Walking difficult. Objects dislodged.
Severe:
Aircraft: Large, abrupt changes in attitude/altitude. Aircraft momentarily out of control. IAS +- >25kt >1g skillnad vid CG.
Inside: Violently forced to seatbelt. Unsecured objects tossed around. Walking impossible.
