There isn't a big difference between here and there, if you want a good paying job in the city, it's best you have an education of some kind, but if you're willing to get your hands dirty and do some tough manual labour you can always go up north and work the oil sands or in the mines, no education required, just muscle, from what I hear it's pretty easy to get work in Northern Canada, well payed too.
