There is a 10 hectare wooded lot being sold at a place called bayon (spell)above Dumaguete on the way to Bais. I don't think any development has been done. There are coconut trees and avocados growing there. Sea is close.
I know about it because my wife is Auntie to a baby that is being held in the hospital in Dumaguete. The kid had intrasaception operation. (twisted bowel). The lot is being sold to pay the bill. I think it could be had very cheap. Probably P200k or 300k. The hospital bill is 120k.
A contractor might fix it up and sell lots.

The hospital put a lien on the lot for 6 months. After that, it goes to someone in that hospital.
Personally I think it is extortion.
