På H2-B visum kan t.ex. Snickare, VVS-Montörer, Ventilationare, Murare, Projektörer inom VVS, El, Vent etc. ansöka.
Det svåra är att hitta ett företag som är villiga att genomgå ett Labor Impact Assessment och sedan ansöka om arbetaren att komma till USA att arbeta för dem.
Jag själv är just nu inne i denna process, jag har ett företag i Florida som nu håller på med LIA och ska sedan ansöka om H2-B visum för mig att komma och jobba åt dem som industri projektör inom VVS.
Enligt USCIS:
To qualify for H-2B nonimmigrant classification, the petitioner must establish that:
* There are not enough U.S. workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available to do the temporary work.
* Employing H-2B workers will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of similarly employed U.S. workers.
* Its need for the prospective workerÂ’s services or labor is temporary, regardless of whether the underlying job can be described as temporary.

Är det verkligen en brist på VVS-konstruktörer i USA? I så fall låter det ju som ett utmärkt sätt att jobba i USA en kortare tid (max-gränsen är tydligen 3 år, men man måste ansöka på nytt varje år):
Generally, USCIS may grant H-2B classification for up to the period of time authorized on the temporary labor certification. H-2B classification may be extended for qualifying employment in increments of up to 1 year each. A new, valid temporary labor certification covering the requested time must accompany each extension request. The maximum period of stay in H-2B classification is 3 years.
