Hey all, I'm new here. I have a very specific question: and that is this....If I'm from America, and I travel to Sweden, I stay for 90 days (the legal limit), can I then travel to England and back to Sweden and have another 90 days?
Also: I am epileptic, and I need to be able to get my medication while I'm in Sweden. However, I have no tax id number, which means I can't go to a doctor without paying a lot (also I have to buy the medication which is expensive). How can I get epileptic medication (Shipping from the US is illegal).
Finally, is there a way to get a visa without having university experience? If there is any way that I can, please inform me. It is my dream to live in Stockholm...And I receive a disability check every month of 1100 dollars. And naturally, I know a little bit of Swedish. I've been there three times, and studied the language quite intensely.
Hi Enry,
The previous posters are pulling your leg, but I suppose you got that...
Anyway, I am afraid this will be difficult for you. To get an "uppehållstillstånd" (green card) you need to be part of one of the following categories:
* You are citizen of a EU/EES country.
* You have family (spouse, parents, children) living in Sweden.
* You have got a job in Sweden, e.g. sent out by your American employer.
* You are a refugee.
* You have been accepted for studies in Sweden.
Since you don't seem to sort into any of these categories, you'll need to stay here on a tourist visa, which as you say is only valid for 90 days within any 6 month period. It cannot be extended by travelling to another EU/EES country. It can, however, in a few cases be extended for a longer time, read more here:

But I think your best chances of getting to stay longer is to go here, and hook up with some Swedish guy/gal... or start studying/working.
Good luck!
